How the editor works
This page walks you through the core editing flow: using natural-language edits, connecting your domain, restoring older versions, and publishing confidently.
1) Open your editor
Start from your edit link and confirm you can see your website preview on the right, with editing controls on the left.
2) Use the main natural-language editor
Use AI Edit for plain-English requests like changing wording, adding or removing content, and updating sections without touching code.
3) Fine-tune sections and styling
Use Sections and Theme to manually adjust content blocks, ordering, and design so your page matches your brand.
4) Save a version before major changes
Click Save to create a backup snapshot before large edits. This gives you a safe restore point if you want to roll back.
5) Restore older versions when needed
Open Versions / Undo to review previous states and restore a version if a recent edit did not work the way you expected.
6) Connect your custom domain
Open Connect a custom domain in the editor footer, enter your domain, and follow the DNS instructions until it verifies.
7) Publish and go live
When your content and domain are ready, hit Publish Site. You can unpublish later if you need to make additional updates.
Before you publish
- Business name, phone, and contact form details are correct
- Service areas and services reflect what you currently offer
- Your domain status is connected (if using a custom domain)
- You have tested the site on desktop and mobile preview
